Cannabis List 2024 - Last Updated October 11
This is my personal list of what I would buy again, may buy again and won't buy again with some comments added for some context.
Prices reflect 13% tax where noted. Any one time or special holiday discounts aren’t applied, nor are multi-pack savings where a provider may offer it as it’s not the base price. I DO NOT accept samples to test and give opinions. I buy all products on my own dime and take a nonpartisan approach.
WILL BUY AGAIN
Edibles
Big Pete’s Cinnamon & Sugar Mini Cookies
Simple ingredients are the reason why I bought it. Each cookie isn’t sealed individually and will loosely move around the bag, one of the cookies was broken but didn’t ruin my experience. The texture of the cookie was crunchy and the taste of cinnamon was perfect. I wish they offered 5mg cookies as these were only 2mg per cookie. A good start into edibles if you’ve never tried them or want a mid-afternoon snack, unless you’re eating them all in one sitting. The overly large mylar bag could be changed to something better, other than that was great! Bought a second time via OCS in Ontario.

Flower
1964 - Organic Comatose
Classic OG Kush smell, nice size dense buds. No humidity pack in the mylar bag, moisture of flower was excellent. In joint form, burned perfectly with a nice grey ash and smooth smoke. Vapour production was average at all temperatures tested (369F to 383F) and tasted like a sweet syrup and pine with a hint of citrus. Based on the taste I would guess the unknown cultivar in this cross with OG Kush might be Pink Kush to make this one. Preferred target temperature was 377F over a 14 minute session.
$9.60/g with tax (Retail Store) $29.74 plus tax for 3.5g ($33.61 with tax)
Black Kettle Farms - Donkey Butter
Smoked well, burned well, nice grey ash. Vaped excellent, preferred target temperature was 373-379F over a 9 minutes session. I went to 369F for a more flavourful session. No humidity pack in the mylar bag, moisture of flower was good.
$9.67/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $29.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($33.84 with tax)
Black Kettle Farms - Triangle Kush
Sweet and syrupy smell to the flower when grinded up. The flower was a bit dry and would recommend using a humidity pack if you don’t plan on consuming this in a couple days as there wasn’t one in the mylar bag. In joint form, smoked well, not harsh but did burn a bit dark compared to a nice grey ash. I preferred vaping this over smoking. In the vape, it was excellent! My preferred target temperature was 377F over a 9 minute session. I went as low as 359F for 13 minutes. Same outcome. Creative and talkative were the main features for me and at times I was laughing, then flowing into a nice lazy feeling an hour later.
$10.96/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $33.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($38.36 with tax)
Book Club Exclusives - Cactus Licker
Upon opening the mylar bag it had a nice scent of sweet fruits and gas. A really smelly flower! There was no humidity pack in the bag and wasn’t needed as the moisture content was excellent. All temperatures tested were excellent (369F to 383F). My preferred temperature was around 378F over a 15 minute session. If I wanted an extended vape session, I found 22 minutes to be the maximum. In joint form, nice grey ash and full of flavour. One of my favourites this year, easily in my top 3.
$11.61/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $35.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($40.62 with tax)
Book Club Exclusives - Cactus Milk
Nice scent of earths and pine when opening the bag. There was no humidity pack in the bag and wasn’t needed as the moisture content was excellent. Preferred a temperature of 377F over a 14 minute span, longer sessions at 20 minutes was best using the same temperature. This cultivar was very strong effect wise for myself. In the vape it tasted like a Black Forest Cake, and no cake was eaten prior to evaluating. Creamy with tastes of cherry, very enjoyable! In joint form, a nice grey ash and smooth smoke was present. I would buy this again, but I would keep my sessions short as I found the effects very strong over a long session. I preferred Cactus Licker by the same grower over this, but was very happy with the outcome of this one overall.
$11.61/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $35.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($40.62 with tax)
Book Club Selects - Kruntz
A strong earthy citrus smell was easily noted after opening the bag and the same taste was observed when vaped. Was very tasty! Didn’t taste sweet, it was interesting. Where citrus meets rind! It vaped excellent, my preferred temperature was 377F over a 14 minute session as I found the flavour and vapour to be perfect. Moisture content was good, there was no humidity pack inside. Aside from the dry eyes, I really enjoyed this cultivar and have already bought it again.

Book Club Selects - Licorice Gumball
This was a tasty one, with hints of a sweet candy and fruit in the vaporizer. My preferred temperature was 377F and most sessions lasted 10 to 14 minutes. The maximum time of vaporization was 25 minutes at the same temperature. In joint form, it burned great with a nice grey ash and smooth smoke. I did prefer it in the vape still, as I found more flavour in that method. Moisture was good and there was no humidity pack inside, nor was it needed. The effect I felt was awake, able to function but at the same time felt relaxed. Remember that everyone has different outcomes, and that time and the setting may alter it.
$9.68/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $59.99 plus tax for 7 grams ($67.79 with tax)
Book Club Selects - Strawberry Jerry
Instant smell of Blueberries or a berry fruit anyways. Smelled really good! Tastes from the vape, earthy and a slight pine. Moisture was great, there was no humidity pack inside. In the vape, I found my preferred temperature was set at 377F over a 14 minute session. Temperatures tested 363F to 383F. In joint form, it smoked well and was smooth. Ash was grey. The effects were mild and I’m not surprised given it was 14.5% THC. It was an enjoyable experience and happy to see lower THC % cultivated flower. I consumed this mainly in the daytime.
$8.70/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $26.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($30.45 with tax)
CannJah Pharm - Banana Hammock
The effects began about 10 minutes into my sessions and felt awake and happy. Great for focusing on gaming or watching tv. Best use I found was during the day, not before bed. The smell of fruit and sweet berries was noticeable upon opening the bag. Moisture content was great and there was a Integra humidity pack inside. In the vape, I noticed an orange berry and slight sour notes. My preferred temperature was 375F over a 14 minute session. In joint form, no complaints, burned well.
$10.64/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $32.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($37.24 with tax)
CannJah Pharm - Peaches en Regalia
A nighttime or end of the day type of cultivar, at least for me, it gave a very strong upper body and head high. After multiple sessions in a day, my eyes were drier than usual. The buds were dense and fruit smelling, and while that was great there were quite a bit of stems with this order where the buds were on large stalks and half of it was buds hanging on. I would still buy it again as it may have just been the bag, but i’ll check next time. The moisture of the flower was good and there was no humidity pack inside. My preferred temperature in the vaporizer was 375F to 379F over an average session time of 12 minutes. The maximum session length was 18 minutes at 377F. In joint form, it burned okay with mostly grey ash and a flavourful smoke. As usual, I did prefer vaping this over smoking.
$8.54/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $52.95 plus tax for 7 grams ($59.83 with tax)
CannJah Pharm - Tectonic Truffle
I’ve been enjoying CannJah Pharms cultivars so I tried this out via medical and then liked it so much I found it in a store nearby, however it was for 7 grams and was a lot cheaper than the medical offering. To note, 7 gram bags are usually cheaper but the price was $2.50 a gram less, which is quite a lot based on what I’ve seen. Aside from the price, I really enjoyed it and happy to have done so via medical for the sake of finding a brand I enjoy their grows. In the vape, 377F over a 10 to 14 minute session was ideal, where at the same temperatures the maximum was around 24 minutes before ending the session. In joint form, it burned well with a nice grey ash. Moisture content was perfect, while inside the mylar bag was an integra humidity pack, no issue. I would buy this again based on my experiences and felt awake and ready for anything. Was a great motivator for cleaning the house.
$9.35/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $28.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($32.71 with tax)
$6.85/g with tax (Retail Store) $42.45 plus tax for 7g ($47.97 with tax)
Carmel Cannabis - Animal Face
Love the cultivar, Animal Face. Most sessions in the vape were about 15 minutes long over a 377F heating temperature. I tested the limits on this one and got to 31 minutes over the same temperature, taking an inhale every minute, no harshness. Ideal temperatures were 375 to 383F. There was an integra humidity pack inside the mylar bag, overall good moisture. In joint form, nice grey ash, smooth smoke and nice diesel taste. I preferred vaping this which is typical of me. Effect was very strong for me.
$11.52/g with tax (Retail Store) $35.68 plus tax for 3.5g ($40.32 with tax)
Casa Di Fiore - Dolce
From the 2023 list, I bought it again and still in joint form this burned fairly dark and the resin was leaking down the sides and of the opening of the joint. It wasn’t harsh by any means but wasn’t enjoyable in this method. In the vape, I absolutely loved it! For me it was the effect I felt each and every time, energized!
$8.88/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $54.99 plus tax for 7g ($62.14 with tax)
Casa Di Fiore - Spezia
A nice cross of Chemdawg x GSC, burned well in joint form, vaped best around 380F over a session of 10-12 minutes. Noticed a light berry taste to it. The only issue I had with this was the flower was a bit dry and needed an extra humidity pack which I always have spares on hand, the one inside wasn’t enough for 7 grams of dried cannabis.
$8.88/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $54.99 plus tax for 7g ($62.14 with tax)
Color Cannabis - Pedro’s Sweet Sativa
The smell from opening the bag had its classic smell that I tried years ago, tropical fruit smoothie. The buds were airy and loose, like every PSS I’ve tried. In the vape, it offered a nice tropical fruit taste and found my preferred target temperature of 377F over the 12 minute session. Temperatures tested were 363F to 383F. In joint form, smoked well with nice grey ash and smooth smoke. I still preferred vaping which is typical of me. Moisture is good, there was a rectangular Boveda humidity pack inside. At this price point I would buy it again. I felt energetic and creative every time I consumed it. I considered the effects to be mild.
$6.44/g with tax (Retail - Store) $19.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($22.54 with tax)
Golden Spruce - Animal Face
Bought this last year and really enjoyed it. The only difference I noticed with this one is that it was very wet upon opening, it seemed like it was near a heater or something as the flower dyed the Integra humidity pack a little bit. I had to burp the container everyday for three days to dry it back to where it would’ve been. It had the same lot and package date as my last order so I’m not concerned. Excellent burn with grey ash. Target temperature was 379F over a 9 minute session. Tried a longer session at 19 minutes using the same temperature and as expected felt stronger effects. No harshness inhaling every minute or so.
$10.49/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $129.95 plus tax for 14g ($146.84 with tax)
Green Karat - Pavé
This is the first time I’ve tried this cultivar from the regulated market and really enjoyed it. It’s menthol taste and smell sold me. Grinded up perfectly and vaped well. In joint form it burned a perfect grey ash. There was a sale on this for all members at $29.99, down from $36.99 for an eighth of an oz.
$9.68/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $29.99 plus tax for 3.5g ($33.89 with tax)
Happy Hour Flower - Hukleberry Pie
This was a value buy and the quality was decent minus one thing. It offered a nice berry and earthy scent when opening the mylar bag. The buds were a bit airy but held together for the most part. Moisture was okay, no humidity pack inside, I think one would help. The overall presentation wasn’t great as there were stray popcorn buds, some even smaller than that, perhaps I got the end of the cut or something. I really enjoyed the taste in the vaporizer and it performed well. I found a temperature of 377F over an 11 minute session was ideal and a maximum session of 15 minutes for decent vapour. In joint form, it burned great with a nice grey ash and smooth smoke. Tasted a bit spicy with a nice diesel taste at the end, very enjoyable. Overall effect I felt was heavy upper body and head high, best suited for nighttime. Always noticed my eyes went dry five minutes after a session.
$7.09/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $21.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($24.80 with tax)
High Quadz - Sour Tangie
This is the best Sour Tangie I’ve ever tried and by far one of the top 3 flowers I’ve smoked and vaped as of August 2024. The buds had a perfect moisture balance and there was no humidity pack inside. Instant smell of a woodsy pine, definitely lots of terpinolene in this one. It burned a perfect grey ash with a smooth smoke. Diesel and citrus notes were tasted. In vapour format, it tasted like a cola gummy with a hint of citrus. My preferred temperatures were 379F over a 10 minute session. The only negative thing I could say here, there’s no larger formats available as of March 2024 which yields a lower price per gram and the 3.5 gram offering is a few dollars too high, but from my understanding it’s a micro grower and happy to support a great grower who made this. Also, this flower was packed on Oct 11 2023, I opened it just over 5 months of it being sealed. Update: I repurchased Sour Tangie in early July and had mostly the same outcome with the same lot number. I’m happy that I got the 15% discount code over the July 1st weekend as $42.95 is pricey for 10 month old cannabis, but the quality held for the most part. If anything it wasn’t as strong smelling. Price below reflects no discount code price.
$13.87/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $42.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($48.53 with tax)
Jonny Chronic - Northern Lights
Bought this primarily for the cultivar as I haven’t tried this one in many years since my friend grew it and shared it with me. According to Mendo’s website this was an outdoor cultivation. The visuals of the flower were average and consisted of many small buds which wasn’t noted prior to purchase, but not a dealbreaker for the price paid. There was no humidity pack inside, nor needed. In joint form it burned well with a smooth smoke and was tasty. In the vape, I found 375F over a 12 minute session was ideal and tasted sweet and . The mylar bag was really large for 14 grams and could probably accommodate 2 ounces or more. It may not be the best looking flower out there, but it performed well and I enjoyed how I felt after.
$5.65/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $69.99 plus tax for 14g ($79.09 with tax)
Maji Cannabis - Salty Pink
First impressions were good, nice dense buds and weighed the two grams and it showed 2.5g on the scale, so I was able to get 5 sessions in my vaporizer and smoked about a gram during my evaluation. Overall moisture was good, there was no humidity pack inside, which is fine. It vaporized well and my preferred temperature was 375F over a session time of 11 minutes, with a maximum time of 21 minutes at the same temperature. In joint form, it burned well with a nice grey ash and smooth smoke. As with most cultivated flower, I preferred vaping this over smoking. The effect it had on me was a heavy body, while still being able to converse with others, however if you’re not a daily consumer of cannabis, this might be better suited for night time.
$11.27/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $19.95 plus tax for 2g ($22.54 with tax)
Purplefarm Genetics - Icee Sherb Gelato
My second purchase from this grower and I enjoyed this one compared to their last. Smoke well in joint form and was my preferred method of consumption. Vapour production wasn’t the greatest and found only the last few minutes was okay. I would still buy this given the price point of sale is at what I paid. Looking forward to trying other cultivars from this grower.
$9.68/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $29.99 plus tax for 3.5g ($33.89 with tax)
Ripe Flower - Cali Kush CBD 1:1
Probably one of the few CBD’s out there I’ve tried in a while that was 1:1, meaning the THC and CBD values were equal or close to it. I really enjoyed this for its mild effect it had on me as someone who consumes mid-to-high THC products usually. It had a really nice smell to it when opening the mylar bag. Inside were chunky and sticky buds, with a Boveda humidity pack inside, which I would say it didn’t need. It vaped perfectly and my preferred temperature was 377F over a 12 minute session. The maximum time I vaporized this was 16 minutes at 377F. In joint form, it also was great and produced a nice grey ash and smooth smoke.
$9.35/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $28.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($32.71 with tax)
Tribal - Triple Burger
Having tried multiple cultivars from the Tribal brand over the years, this happened to be one of my favourites. They also changed the lid to make it easier to open and added a protective barrier to prevent the buds from drying out (something I pointed out last year multiple times, I’m sure I wasn’t alone). In joint form, it burned perfectly and was an enjoyable smoke. In the vaporizer, I found 377F over a 15 minute session worked best for me. This is a beautiful looking flower and excels well at its price point and would be comparable to that of those in the $29.99 range.
$8.07/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $24.99 plus tax for 3.5g ($28.24 with tax)
Vertuose Culture - Blackjet Cookies (French Cookies Pheno #8)
First time trying this company, it had a nice scent to it but wasn’t intense as described on the Mendo Medical website. There was a variation of medium to large buds. Moisture was excellent and there was no humidity pack inside the bag, nor needed. In the vape I noticed a very minor earthy lemon taste. My preferred temperature was 377F over a 15 minutes session. In joint form I had no issues at all and was happy with the smoke and ash. I’d buy this again based on how it made me personally feel and was happy with the overall quality for the price paid.
$9.68/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $59.99 plus tax for 7 grams ($67.79 with tax)
Victoria Cannabis Company - After Eighth
Last year I purchased one of their cultivars and loved it, and when I find a grower or team of people who pick great cultivated flower I tend to buy more of their new stuff. After Eighth expressed its beauty among the 10 medium buds in the 7 gram bag, however it had a minimal menthol and lemon smell to it, which i’m not surprised as the terps noted on the bag was less than 2%. So I appreciate them being honest with the number. My preferred vaporization temperature was 377F over a 14 minute session or 383F over 12 minutes. In joint form, it burned well and produced a perfect grey ash with smooth smoke. Overall, moisture was excellent and there was no humidity pack inside, nor needed. My preference for consumption was during the day.
$9.68/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $59.99 plus tax for 7 grams ($67.79 with tax)
Victoria Cannabis Company - G Wagon
Vaped and smoked well. No humidity pack was inside, nor was needed. Mostly consisted of 4 large buds among the 7 grams in the bag. 373F was my preferred temperature with this cultivar in the vaporizer. I enjoyed this one overall and was happy with the price paid.
$9.68/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $59.99 plus tax for 7 grams ($67.79 with tax)
Victoria Cannabis Company - Star Child
My initial reaction when I opened the bag was, wow! These are huge buds! It was 2 massive buds, just over 3.5 grams each. I had no issues with smoking or vaping this cultivar but found it to be very strong in terms of effects for me, so I had to make sure I was consuming it later in the day if I haven’t vaped something else earlier. My preferred temperature was 377F over 12 minutes. As with their other products I tried, there was no humidity pack inside as the moisture of the buds were excellent, even until the last gram!
$9.68/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $59.99 plus tax for 7 grams ($67.79 with tax)
Woody Nelson - Rainbow Driver
Absolutely loved this cultivar by this grower. I tried this last year with their 3.5 grams, so I had to try it in 14 grams. One of the buds was 5 grams in weight! Not only were the smoke and vape sessions great, it smelled STRONG with a sweet dank tropical smell. Flower felt chunky when breaking it apart, clean and all together, just like the 3.5 grams. As an added bonus, it was cheaper per gram than the 3.5g package as bulk buying usually gives a discount.
$8.88/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $109.99 plus tax for 14g ($124.29 with tax)
MAY BUY AGAIN
Flower
CannJah Pharm - GG4
This cultivar offered a nice lemongrass taste in the vape. The best vapor was between 373F to 379F over a 10 minute session. Maximum time over the same temperature was 13 minutes before I felt it was time to end the session. In joint form, it burned well with a nice peppery grey ash. My joint went out a couple times, so I preferred vaping it over smoking. Moisture of the flower was good, inside the mylar bag was an integra humidity pack, which I think is fine as the flower was balanced. Effect wise, I felt a bit anxious as I have with most GG4 grows. Temperatures used didn’t matter in terms of effect strength, time did, which doesn’t surprise me. I did feel upbeat and happy, but enjoyed other cultivars by the same grower. I may buy this again, but would like to try another GG4 from another grower again.
$9.35/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $28.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($32.71 with tax)
Kronic - Banana Cream Pie
While the list price is listed here, I paid about $5 less with the promo code that was given for all members during Boxing Week 2023 and got 15% off, and at that price I would definitely buy it again. It had a unique fruit and herbal smell to it, the quality was good in the vape, but in joint form it burned fairly dark. If this came in a glass jar I’d be a happier camper, as quality cannabis should be in glass. In retail this does come in glass, but you’re paying $15/gram with tax almost, which the quality isn’t that high to justify at that rate compared to others I’ve tried.
$12.27/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $37.99 plus tax for 3.5g ($42.93 with tax)
North 40 Cannabis - El Gordo
Last year I bought this and said I would buy it again. This time the price is lower but the buds were much smaller and presented an earthy lemongrass upon opening the bag. Generally small buds don’t bother me but anything over $10 a gram with tax shouldn’t consist of ten small buds. Overall, the flower was decent once grounded up with good moisture content all without a humidity pack. In the vape, my preferred temperature was 375F over a 16 minutes session. I preferred this in joint form like last year over vaporization.
$10.31/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $31.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($36.10 with tax)
Ostara Medical - Grape Stank
My first experience with this cultivar was last year, now I’m trying it a year later. It had a strong earthy and pine smell to it. Very noticeable smell after opening. In the vape, the best temperatures were 379F to 383F over a 9 minute session. Maximum time over the same temperatures was 23 minutes. In joint form, it burned perfectly with a pepper grey ash and enjoyed smoking this equally as vaping it. Overall, moisture was perfect. There was an integra humidity pack inside, which I don’t think this one needs. It gave me a great feeling, body high and cerebral effect, but the flower felt too sticky and left a lot of residue on my fingers, which I can’t say I’ve seen in many years from a grower. This was a bit annoying but used dish soap to wash it off, as regular soap wasn’t cutting it. Previous purchases last year didn’t show this and I guess the age of the flower is to blame, as it is shown as 2023-07-12 on the bottle, unsure if that’s July or December. Most growers I’ve seen the month as the second part, which means July 2023. It was bought in July 2024 and consumed in August 2024. I’d buy it again if it wasn’t older than 9 months.
$9.67/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $29.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($33.84 with tax)
Seastone Farms - Grape Pie
Smoked well, burned well, decent grey ash. My preferred consumption was with the vape with this cultivar. It vaped excellent, preferred target temperature was 377F over a 10 minutes session. No humidity pack in the mylar bag, moisture of flower was on the dry side. I’d buy this again but I’ll need a Boveda on hand to help bring some moisture in and that’s another thing I need to buy.
$9.67/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $29.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($33.84 with tax)
Shred Cannabis - Dessert Storm (Milled)
This is my first milled product I bought and did so because I wanted to see how it faired with other items in this price range. I understand this isn’t whole flower, but in the end it’s the same product once grounded up mostly. There was a sweet meadow with earthy undertones and spice. Similar taste to what I smelled when opening the mylar bag. In the vape, target temperature was 373F over the 13 minute session. Vapour production was moderate at all temperatures tested, 363F to 383F. In joint form, it smoked well and produced grey ash. Not harsh, smooth smoke. Effects mostly upper body/head high effect for myself. Wasn’t tired and felt awake every session. Moisture content was good, an Integra humidity pack is inside. I may buy this again if I forgot my grinder at home and wanted to roll a joint or just had my vape with me.
$4.76/g with tax (Retail - OCS) $33.35 plus tax for 7g ($33.35 with tax)
Stash Club - Flawless Victory
A light berry taste was noticed after opening the bag, wasn’t quite distinct and when grinded up it was very faint too. The package date was almost 7 months when I got it, so that may be a factor. My preferred temperature was 375F over a 14 minute session. It provided excellent vapour at all temperatures I tested it with. In joint form it burned great with a perfect grey ash. Overall, the moisture was good with the dense buds and there was no humidity pack inside. I’ll check out Stash Club’s other cultivars and see how they fair.
$9.67/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $29.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($33.84 with tax)
The Legacy Market - AAA Grape Diamond
There was a flowery and peppery smell to it and when consumed in my vape I noticed a citrusy diesel taste. In joint form it burned badly, the ash was very dark and my joint kept going out. The smoke wasn’t harsh, but I much preferred this in the vape. It vaped excellent in the vape, my preferred target temperature was 379-383F over a 9 minute session. Overall moisture was acceptable and there was no humidity pack inside the mylar bag. I may buy this again because I had an enjoyable time with it, but I’ve paid cheaper for the similar quality. I would definitely try the brand again with another cultivar in the future. Happy to see the flower in a glass jar!
$11.28/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $34.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($39.49 with tax)
Viola - AL 96
This item was on sale for all members down from $37.95 ($8 off) and all I can say is that despite it checking most of my boxes, every single bud was popcorn size, it was disappointing as the flower had a unique smell to it of lemon and a burnt salted caramel. Moisture content was great for what it was and included a Integra boost humidity pack inside the bag. My preferred vaping temperature was 377F over a 14 minute session. In joint form it burned excellent with a nice grey ash and a slow burn. I preferred smoking this over vaping. It followed with an upper body effect and a nice head high each time, wasn’t too strong of an effect for me. I’d wait for a new batch before trying it again.
$9.67/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $29.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($33.84 with tax)
Woody Nelson - Purple God
Another great looking flower lacking aromas. Ticks all the boxes with a low scent of tangy grapes and light skunk. I liked the paper box it was in, but the lining of the box was plastic and metal mix. After I finished the flower I cut it up and noticed a lot of the smell was on the plastic. It burned well in joint form and I preferred it in this form over vaping. When I did vape I found the preferred temperature was 383F over a 13 minute session. Moisture content was good and there was a small Boveda humidity pack inside. I’d buy it again if its in glass and see if its better.

No reeks of gas, funk or cake as mentioned in the listing where I bought it. The lack of aromas, small buds and vapour at low temperatures were disappointing compared to the growers other offerings. I never tried this cultivar before, maybe it just wasn’t for me and might be for you? Overall the moisture content was okay and no humidity pack was inside. In joint form it burned well with a nice grey ash. In the vape I found 383F over a 14 minute session as my preferred method.

Catch Me Outside - Couch Potato
The smell had very faint earths and spice, that’s it. My target temperature was 369F over the 11 minute session. Vapour production was average at all temperatures tested, 369F to 383F. Burned well in joint form, ash was grey but on the darker side. The effect was mild for me, more of a dull head high. Moisture was average, an integra humidity pack was inside. I wouldn’t buy this again based on the minimal flavour and average vapour produced at the price paid compared to others in its price range.
$5.79/g with tax (Retail store) $17.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($20.28 with tax)
Cheers Cannabis - Apples & Bananas
I’ve tried a few variations of this cultivar and this is one I wouldn’t buy again, at least at this price point. It uses the same container that Tribal Cannabis uses, so use another medium when storing after opening as it leaks air = super dried out flower. It vaped well and was okay in joint form. Quality was average and I’d expect to pay $8/g at most for this.
$11.30/g with tax (Mendo Medical) $34.99 plus tax for 3.5g ($39.54 with tax)
The Legacy Market - AAAA Cheerioz
A minimal earthy scent was noticed when opening the glass jar, nothing else. In the vape the closest thing I could think it tasted like was whipped cream, wildly different from the jar but overall quite dull. I found 377F over a 14 minute session worked out the best in the vape, where in joint form it burned on the darker side of grey but an okay smoke. No humidity pack was inside and the moisture content was great. Beautiful looking flower but misses a few things here.
$11.93/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $36.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($41.75 with tax)
Roxton Air Cannabis Co - Frosted GSC
Initial reaction was large mylar bag for 3.5 grams of cannabis, barely any aromas, lots of shake and poorly trimmed dried out buds. Moisture content was poor, there was no humidity pack inside. I added one to see if it would help and waited 48 hours, a mild earthy mint and berry was noticed in the vape at 383F over a 11 minute session. In joint form it burned well with a nice grey ash. This was on sale for all members from $36.95 plus tax ($7 off).
$9.67/g with tax (Herbal Dispatch) $29.95 plus tax for 3.5g ($33.84 with tax)
